The Sustainability Linked Facility is the first of its kind transaction in the Qatar Financial Centre, and one of the first by an Islamic investment bank globally.

DOHA, 19 March 2025 - QInvest LLC (QInvest), Qatar's leading investment group and one of the world’s most prominent Islamic financial institutions, today announces the successful close of a USD 275m sustainability linked facility (SLF), in the first transaction of its kind in Qatar for a financial institution, and one of the first by an Islamic investment bank, globally.

QInvest, Qatar's leading investment bank, served as Joint Lead Managers and Bookrunners in Dukhan Bank’s $800 million five-year senior unsecured Sukuk.

The transaction marks the first Senior Sukuk issuance for Dukhan Bank and saw significantly high levels of demand from both global and regional investors.

The order book was covered more than three times resulting in the largest issuance by a Qatari Islamic bank since 2020.
